Philodendron 'Ring of Fire', also known as the Tiger Tooth plant, is a long, deeply serrated leaves are unlike most other members of the genus, with jagged, irregular margins that give the plant a distinctly tropical, almost wild appearance. The variegation cycles through a remarkable range of tones as new leaves emerge: shades of cream, yellow, orange, and red shift toward green as each leaf matures, so at any given time the plant carries several different colours at once.

Origins
Philodendron 'Ring of Fire' is a horticultural hybrid, believed to have been developed from a cross between Philodendron wendlandii and Philodendron tortum, and was originally known in the trade as 'Henderson's Pride'. Its parent species are native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America.

Soil and Substrate
Philodendron 'Ring of Fire' needs a loose, airy substrate with excellent drainage. The variegated sections of the leaves produce less chlorophyll than the green tissue, which means the plant benefits from brighter conditions and a well-nourished root environment to compensate. Our Monstera and Philodendron Premium Potting Mix is peat-free, hand-blended in Yorkshire, and formulated for exactly this type of climbing Philodendron: open structure, good moisture retention, and worm castings for steady, natural nutrition.

A Few Gems, but Not the Right Fit for Me
Format: Kindle
This book focuses on the 80/20 principle, emphasizing the importance of identifying and maximizing the 20% of activities that yield the greatest results. While it offers valuable insights on growth, creativity, and leveraging strengths, it didn’t resonate with me personally, and I found the reading experience less enjoyable. Key Takeaways: • Growth requires creating something new and meaningful, not maintaining the status quo. • Focus on your “20% spike”—your unique strengths—and develop them like an athlete. • Use the 80/20 principle to identify the most profitable parts of a business. Overall, the ideas are useful, but the book didn’t fully capture my interest or provide practical applications I could relate to.

An empty-hearted effort
Format: Kindle
Managing personal efficiency is no doubt an important skill. And judging from the author's success from the first book, I assume he is a credible author. But this book is just way too shallow and lacks the evidence of any sinerity for the readers. If you are new to the concept of life efficiency management, it might be good to read his first book. If you are looking for a good framework or advice on how to achieve your goal, then you will for sure be disappointed. This whole book is just about stressing the importance of efficiency management. Absolutely anything else!
