This example features a JFET input stage paired with a JFET op-amp design, resulting in an exceptionally natural and amp-like response with high input impedance, making it highly compatible with all pickup types. This ensures strong interaction with guitar volume controls and excellent dynamic sensitivity. A 3-way clipping toggle switch offers multiple tonal voicings: “90’s” mode provides symmetrical clipping with focused midrange presence; “Wide Asym” introduces a more open response with enhanced highs and lows and chime-like harmonic complexity; while “Comp-Cut” removes diode clipping entirely for a raw, op-amp-driven tone with increased output and aggressive clarity ideal for pushing an amplifier.

This example also features fully independent OVERDRIVE and BOOST channels, with a routing toggle allowing the boost section to be placed before or after the overdrive stage for flexible gain stacking.
